Building Capacity for Better Food Safety!

On December 11, 2024, the EU Food Safety Project concluded the year with a milestone training session in Agios Epiktitos/Çatalköy, bringing together over 120 food business operators and staff to enhance their knowledge and practices in Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) and HACCP-based procedures.

This training, organized in collaboration with local bodies, aimed to empower participants with the understanding needed to implement these essential practices in their own establishments. Participants included operators from both animal and non-animal origin sectors. By equipping businesses with the tools for better food safety, we’re working hand-in-hand with the food operators to raise standards and ensure safer food for all.
