The EU Food Safety Project (EU FSP) is launching a new pilot initiative in Agios Epiktitos/Çatalköy–Agios Amvrosios/Esentepe to support food safety practices for products of non-animal origin throughout the agri-food chain.
As part of the initiative, EU FSP experts will provide technical support to improve and develop practices and tools —for effective food safety management. The pilot will also feature direct, on-site assistance and hands-on guidance.
The pilot is scheduled to run from June through September 2025. Upon its conclusion, results, findings, and best practices will be shared with the wider public.
This initiative represents a significant step towards improving food safety in the Turkish Cypriot community.
