Organised by the EU Food Safety Project in Cooperation with the Animal Breeders Union
Dear Farmers,
We are pleased to invite you to participate in a series of important training sessions organised by the EU Food Safety Project in cooperation with the Animal Breeders Union, within the framework of Project Activity 5.1.2:
Farm hygiene, animal health threats, prevention of common animal diseases, and reducing the risk of exotic animal diseases entering the Turkish Cypriot community (TCc)
The trainings aim to strengthen practices related to:
- Farm hygiene and biosecurity measures
- Early detection and notification of animal diseases
- Disease prevention and control
- Rational use of veterinary medicinal products (including antimicrobials)
- Surveillance and emergency response
- Milk hygiene
Dates and Locations:
- 10 June – Güzelyurt / Morphou
- 12 June – Lefkoşa / Nicosia
- 17 June – Vadili / Vatili
🕕 Time: 19:00 – 22:00
Registration begins at 19:00h.
The training will conclude with closing remarks and certificate distribution
Consecutive interpretation into Turkish/English will be provided throughout the trainings, ensuring accessibility for all participants.
The above 3 sessions form part of a wider effort under the EU Food Safety Project which aims to deliver 24 training events over the next two years across the TCc.
In total 8 training sessions are planned for 2025 with the following 5 to be announced soon. The remaining 16 training sessions will take place in 2026 and 2027.
