This is a training to enhance understanding and knowledge about policies and requirement on early detection, notification, control disease, financial implication and funding, disposal of ABP, roles and responsibilities of the stakeholders involved in emergencies.
Objectives
Objectives of the training to give an overview of the EU legal frame in animal health:
- early notification - elements and practice
- eradication of listed and emerging disease
- contingency planning - establishing of NDCC and LDCC
- disposal of carcasses
- funding of AH measures and reimbursement to the farmers
- significant disease for TCc
Target Groups
Veterinary ‘department’, central and local veterinary inspectors, laboratories, ‘municipal’ servants responsible for safe disposal of ABPs
